The process begins with a quick, simple, and contactless screening test that requires no mouthpieces. If alcohol is detected, the employee is prompted to take an evidential test. Both functions work seamlessly with biometric facial recognition, so there’s no need for multiple devices, and mouthpiece use is reduced by up to 99%.
The system operates completely autonomously – no supervision required. An intelligent algorithm filters notifications sent to managers, ensuring only the most important information is delivered.
A reliable biometric facial recognition feature ensures that only authorized employees can perform the test, eliminating the risk of fraud or deception. Facial recognition also replaces the need for access (employee ID) cards, simplifying employee identification before entering the workplace.
Depending on your needs, mobile, stationary, or in-vehicle breathalyzers all share the same user interface, making testing simple and consistent for all employees. Regardless of the device, all data is transmitted to a unified cloud platform, where managers can easily monitor and analyze results.
The system automatically calculates each employee’s actual working hours and presents the data in a convenient format. Worksober also generates work schedules, allows template creation, and includes an AI-powered automated planning tool.
Start and end times are recorded directly from the devices, and the system can automatically recognize breaks, round times, or adjust entries as needed. Manual editing is also available, and attendance sheets can be easily printed when required.
Worksober tracks how long employees work at each location. Information is displayed both in total and per employee, giving managers complete visibility into where and how long each person actually worked.
The breathalyzer can be easily connected to turnstiles or doors – it supports up to three access card (RFID) readers, which can function as access controllers managing both entry and exit directions. The device can be mounted above or away from the turnstile, allowing employees to test comfortably.
When an access card (RFID) is scanned, the turnstile either grants or denies access based on the test result. The device can also send information to external access control systems. The devices are adapted to work with multiple turnstiles – data between them is synchronized instantly for seamless operation across large entry points.
Worksober offers a modern API that enables integration with your ERP or HR systems. You can exchange data about tests, violations, employee lists, work schedules, manager permissions, and other configurations — streamlining workflows and automating administration.
Integration with Microsoft Active Directory enhances security and simplifies user authentication — employees don’t need separate passwords and can log in securely without extra credentials. When staff changes occur, access rights are updated automatically, ensuring complete transparency and control.
The flexible Worksober system allows each department to set its own rules — such as permissible alcohol limits, random testing percentages, or requirements for facial recognition and photo capture.
Settings can also be individualized per employee.
This is especially useful when managing different departments or contractors. Configurations can be quickly imported from an Excel file, enabling fast and convenient setup.
Connectivity is one of the most critical features of the breathalyzer, ensuring reliable data transfer and accurate facial recognition. Devices support Wi-Fi, LAN, and GSM, and the system automatically selects the optimal connection channel. If one network fails, data is instantly transmitted via another.
Even if the connection is completely lost, the device saves all measurements locally and automatically uploads them once the network is restored. This ensures reliability even at sites with poor connectivity, thanks to the integrated GSM mobile network support.
Worksober allows managers to view only the data of their assigned departments or sites. Access permissions are managed remotely, ensuring each manager sees only relevant information.
No need to install software — all data is accessible via a web browser on computers, tablets, or smartphones. This guarantees simple, secure, and flexible access anywhere, anytime.
The system is designed to handle large employee volumes efficiently — each test takes less than 10 seconds. Test validity settings help prevent unnecessary retesting while maintaining a high level of security.
Additionally, random testing configurations can be applied to each department, ensuring smooth employee movement even during peak traffic times.
